Admissions FAQs

Q.  What is the admissions process?
    A:  The following information is required to complete the admissions process for Chamberlain College of Nursing. Refer to the steps below if you are interested in applying for the College of Nursing. 

  1. Completed applications with application fee
  2. Official transcripts from high school, trade schools and colleges/universities.
  3. Official ACT score, which is preferred, or the SAT Score
  4. Then completed file goes to the Director of Enrollment for recommendation.
Q.  What are the prerequisites courses to acceptance into Chamberlain?
    A:  There are no prerequisites for acceptance into Chamberlain. However, there are prerequisite courses that are required to be taken before clinical courses can be taken. Please see the nursing option of your interest.
Q.  Do you accept transfer credits?
    A:  Yes we do. We transfer credits that are in the nursing curriculum, specific to the nursing option of your interest. These credits have to be obtained at a college/university that has the same accreditation.
Q.  Is housing available?
    A:  Yes. Chamberlain College of Nursing will assist you in finding local housing in the area.
