ADN Admissions Requirements

Admission to the Associate Degree in Nursing Program (available in Columbus, OH) assumes that the individual is completing the entire program and taking the licensure examination for professional nursing (NCLEX-RN).

Chamberlain College of Nursing looks for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum ACT composite score of 21, minimum SAT score of 990, or TEAS score of 60.
  • High school cumulative GPA of 2.75 from all previously attended insitutions or successful completion of the General Education Development Examination (GED).
  • College GCPA of 2.75 from each institution attended, excluding development courses.
  • Unencumbered nursing license (RNs and LPNs).
  • Minimum grade of C in all nursing courses from any previous nursing education.
  • Demonstration of mastery of English through a score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants whose native language is not English.
