BSN Admissions Requirements

Chamberlain College of Nursing looks for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum ACT composite score of 21, minimum SAT score of 990, or TEAS score of 60.
  • High school cumulative GPA of 2.75 from all previously attended insitutions or successful completion of the General Education Development Examination (GED).
  • College GCPA of 2.75 from each institution attended, excluding development courses.
  • Unencumbered nursing license (RNs and LPNs).
  • Minimum grade of C in all nursing courses from any previous nursing education.
  • Demonstration of mastery of English through a score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants whose native language is not English.

Registered Nurses seeking Admission to BSN Program

  • Transcript from an accredited RN Program documenting graduation.
  • Minimum grade of a “C” in all nursing courses
  • Unrestricted RN license
