RN to BSN Admission Requirements

  • Official transcripts from an accredited RN program documenting graduation.
  • Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 or higher for earned associated degree or diploma.
  • Minimum grade of “C” in all nursing courses.
  • Unrestricted RN license in the US state in which the applicant practices.

Note - RN to BSN Students must already be a Registered Nurse, have an unrestricted Nursing License, provide proof of having an unrestricted Nursing License, and month/year that unrestricted Nursing License was obtained

Enrollment in accelerated or online coursework

To be eligible for accelerated or online coursework, applicants must meet all general admission requirements. They must also own or have off-site regular access to a PC that meets location or program-based requirements, including Internet access, and must have a valid e-mail account, and provide the address to Chamberlain.

In addition, applicants may be required to interview with an academic administrator, or to attend a specialized orientation in advance of starting classes to ensure that the accelerated or online format is appropriate.

Because technology changes rapidly, students should note that technology requirements may need to be upgraded during the course of their program
