Clinical Facilities

The College uses a variety of hospitals and clinical agencies to provide meaningful clinical learning experiences. Acute care medical-surgical units, critical and emergency care, community agencies, pediatric hospitals, and specialized care units such as obstetrics and psychiatric units offer comprehensive learning opportunities for students. Online students are responsible for working with the college to secure clinical learning experiences. Online students residing in states that have not yet granted approval to Chamberlain College of Nursing may be required to complete the clinical experience in another state. Students should contact the National Clinical Coordinator for the current state approval status. Campus-based learning facilities are also available to online associate degree nursing students who come to campus for scheduled validation experiences and for other optional opportunities.

Disclaimer about Clinical Residency

State Board approvals of Chamberlain College of Nursing are necessary in each state in which clinical experiences are completed.
