Chamberlain College of Nursing’s flexible online Master of Science in Nursing degree program allows registered nurses to advance their nursing careers by earning an MSN degree in as few as 6 semesters.
The Executive track builds the foundational skills essential to nurse leaders. Courses in the MSN Executive track include the foundations of organizational leadership, including managerial communication, organizational change, and decision-making. Students also complete a leadership practicum, allowing them to develop leadership skills.
“I challenge every RN who is working in a hospital to step up and take a leadership role. Because in the complex health care environment, we must work through others. And we rely on a whole team of caregivers to provide excellent care. Nurses have to develop extremely skilled leadership and
delegation skills. And we look forward to helping the RNs out there develop those skills through Chamberlain.”
–Jackie Conrad, Chief Nursing Officer of Adventist Midwest Health Glenoaks Hospital
Students complete a 100-hour practicum in their own geographic location, allowing them to develop educational skills with the support of an experienced nurse educator. Students are responsible for identifying an appropriate location and mentor for the practicum experience.
With Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing degree program, you can advance your career and become a nurse leader.
