Chamberlain College of Nursing's online Graduate Certificate Programs are designed for MSN-prepared nurses looking to enhance their expertise to meet critical areas of need in the nursing profession.
The Graduate Certificate Programs allow nurses to gain knowledge and experience in the key specialties of nursing education and informatics. Coursework and an optional practicum prepare graduates to sit for national certification exams and gain the credential needed to be a leader in the field.
Students in the Graduate Certificate Programs may complete either the Educator or Informatics specialty track courses currently provided in Chamberlain's Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program.

Students may enroll in the Graduate Certificate Program six times per year: July, September, November, January, March and May.

Students in the Graduate Certificate Programs complete the theory courses specific to nursing education or nursing informatics.
An optional practicum experience may also be completed to obtain hands-on experience in the field.
Through the program, students gain knowledge and skills in the areas of educational theory, instructional methods, assessment and evaluation of learning and curriculum development.
After successful completion of certificate requirements, students are eligible to take the National League for Nursing certification exam in nursing education, which awards the credential of Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).

In the Graduate Certificate in Nursing Informatics program, students gain knowledge and skills in the practice of nursing informatics, management of healthcare data and information, and the use of data to inform decisions to improve processes and outcomes in healthcare settings.
After successful completion of certificate requirements, students are eligible to take the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification exam in nursing informatics.
