Meet the Tinley Park Faculty and Staff!
Get to know a little more about the folks who are working to help the students at the Tinley Park campus achieve their goal of becoming a nurse!

Dr. Saucier’s extensive background in nursing education includes 11 additional tenures at colleges and universities across the nation. Dr. Saucier enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren in her spare time.
Professor Elizabeth “Betty” Bowler has been a pediatric nurse for 29 years. For the last 10 years she has been adjunct nursing faculty for Lewis University, providing nursing students with clinical experiences at Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn. Prior to joining Chamberlain, she was an associate professor of nursing at Northwestern College in Bridgeview, teaching pediatric nursing as well as maternity nursing. Betty is looking forward to working with students as they start their nursing education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Professor Barb Whaley has enjoyed being a member of the faculty on all three Chicago-metro campuses since her date of hire in October 2007. She loves to “travel for food” and thinks nothing of driving to other states for their food specialty. She recently drove to Shipshewana, Indiana, to get some granola and Amish-made items such as cheese, butter and donuts.
Ali Bednar lives in Palos Hills, Illinois, and is a single parent to her young daughter, Amanda. She is a licensed paramedic in the state of Illinois and has worked in EMS since 1996. Ali is an American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor. She has been employed with Chamberlain College of Nursing since October 2010, transferring from the Chicago campus last September. Ali enjoys spending time with her daughter and training her dog in agility in her spare time. SCUBA diving has become her passion and she is also an instructor.
Cory has been with DeVry Inc. for the last eight and a half years, spending the last six with Chamberlain. Her favorite activities include boating on Lake Michigan and volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Nichole Dalaly has been with the DeVry Inc. family for five years. She brings a passion for education as well as a drive to help others succeed. She is a self-proclaimed “southsider” who supports the Chicago White Sox. In her free time, she likes to hone her photography skills, relax with the family and cook. Like Professor Whaley, Nichole is a foodie who will travel for great food.
