Founded in April 2009, the Chamberlain College of Nursing Honor Society celebrates the scholarship, research and academic excellence of undergraduate and graduate nursing students and the achievements of professional nurses. Our mission is to support learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference worldwide. As such, we are thrilled to announce the recent achievement of one of our goals, that of becoming an official chapter member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). Recently, the House of Delegates of the Honor Society of Nursing STTI granted Chamberlain a charter to become its newest chapter, Phi Pi. With nearly 500 chapters spanning 22 countries, STTI is the second largest nursing organization in the world and the only international nursing honor society. As the newest chapter of STTI, we further our Honor Society’s mission by offering our members the vast resources of the most respected nursing organization in the world. The global community of nurse leaders will formally induct the Chamberlain College of Nursing Honor Society at a chartering ceremony in October 2011.
