Chamberlain’s Military Education Liaisons help you determine the benefits in which you qualify and provide helpful tips on how to access them. Some of the most common benefit options available to military students are listed below: Military Tuition Assistance (or TA), GI Bill, VOC Rehab, National Nursing Education Initiative (NNEI), and the Yellow Ribbon Program.
This scholarship is only offered to full time permanent status VA employees who have a job code identifier of 0630 (Registered Nurse). To determine your eligibility contact your HR and/or Education Benefits Director/Manager at the VA Medical Center in which you work.
Chamberlain is a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program. The Yellow Ribbon program is a voluntary agreement between Veterans Affairs and Chamberlain that allows eligible students (current and newly admitted) to have 100% tuition covered. The Yellow Ribbon benefits include:

Deployment Policy
Chamberlain’s deployment policy makes it possible for active duty service members and their dependents to attend school without worrying about the “what ifs.” If you need to deploy or PCS during the semester simply fill out the Deployment Form and contact your Chamberlain Military Education Liaison. They will make sure your paperwork is processed and walk you through any additional steps you need to withdraw from the course without penalty and will help you re-enroll when you are able to do so.
Chamberlain offers qualified registered nurses special military tuition rates. These tuition rates vary depending on military status (such as active duty vs. retired military). The table below provides Chamberlain’s tuition rates for military service members. Rates vary depending on current military status.
RN to BSN Option (active duty)

In order to understand what the cost of your Chamberlain education, it is best to speak directly with one of our Military Nursing Education Specialists. The Specialist will assist with walking students through the transcript ordering process. Once you are ready to apply, you can request a full transcript evaluation to understand which credits will transfer towards your carefully chosen Chamberlain program of study and help you to know exactly how many credits you’ll need to complete in order to earn your Chamberlain degree. Our team of Military Nursing Education Specialists and Military Liaisons primarily consists of currently serving and prior military service members who are committed to providing students with expert guidance and support. Leveraging more than 30 years of military and education experience, our team works closely with each student to identify the military benefits that are appropriate for each situation. Jeffrey Grimes, U.S. Air Force Retired
Jeffrey Grimes is a military enrollment specialist at Chamberlain College of Nursing. In this role, he is responsible for assisting military students, including active military, veterans, retired military, Department of Defense employees and spouses of active duty, veterans or retired military, with enrollment procedures. Prior to this position, he was an enrollment counselor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, providing prospective and enrolled students with guidance during registration and admission stages.
With 20 years of military service, including roles as education and training manager and education services administrator, among others, Grimes has an exemplary leadership background. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Western International University in Phoenix; a Bachelor of Applied Science in business management from Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, N.C.; and an Associates of Applied Science in education and training management and avionics system technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
Brandon Teskey, U.S. Army National Guard
Brandon Teskey serves as a military enrollment specialist for Chamberlain College of Nursing’s military affairs team. In this role, he is responsible for assisting military students, including active military, veterans, retired military, Department of Defense employees and spouses of active duty, veterans or retired military, supporting them throughout the enrollment process. Teskey serves as a dedicated counselor on various military-specific matters, including the G.I. Bill and deployment.
Currently a member of the Army National Guard, Teskey has more than three years of military experience in the Infantry and is enrolled in Officer Candidates School. He was previously a military enrollment counselor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Teskey holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Arizona State University in Tempe and is pursuing a Master of Science in leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Robyn Hinchey, U.S. Air Force Veteran
Robyn Hinchey is a military healthcare development specialist at Chamberlain College of Nursing. In this role, she is responsible for assisting military students with military specific information and academic support. Prior to this position, she was a military liaison specialist at Everest University Online, where she informed military students on a wide variety of educational offerings and provided prospective and enrolled military students with guidance during various academic stages. With 13 years of military service, including roles as a space/missile launch operator and a combat crew commander, among others, Hinchey has a strong leadership background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in social sciences from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
T.J. Little, U.S. Army Infantry Veteran
T.J. Little is a military healthcare development specialist at Chamberlain College of Nursing. In this role, he is responsible for assisting military students, including active military, veterans, retired military, Department of Defense employees and spouses of active duty, veterans or retired military, with military specific information and academic support. Little serves as a dedicated counselor on various military-specific matters, including the G.I. Bill and deployment. With five years of military service, including four years of active duty Infantry and one year with the Arizona National Guard, Little has a strong leadership background. He holds a Bachelor of Science in public safety administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, where he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in psychology.
Stephen Pare
Stephen Pare is a national military education liaison at Chamberlain College of Nursing. In this role, he is responsible for providing military students, including active military, veterans, retired military, Department of Defense employees and spouses of active duty, veterans or retired military, with financial advisement and academic support. Pare is a dedicated liaison on various military-specific matters, including the G.I. Bill, vocational rehabilitation and deployment.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Pare was a lead academic and finance advisor for the military division at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, where he trained and implemented new military policies and procedures for current and prospective military students. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barry University in Miami, where he graduated with honors.
Stephen English, U.S. Air Force Veteran
Stephen English is a military technical specialist at Chamberlain College of Nursing. In this role, he is responsible for assisting in the development of military policies and processes in addition to being the primary contact for GoArmyEd.
With more than nine years of experience in higher education and four years of service in the U.S. Air Force, English has a wealth of knowledge in his field. Prior to joining Chamberlain, he was responsible for the day to day business processes for the DeVry University online campus in Phoenix with responsibilities that included on/off boarding of employees, expansion of facilities, training of staff in various areas of expertise in addition to managing personnel. His previous positions include development of the military program and liaison for DeVry University and military enrollment advisor for the University of Phoenix.
English holds a Bachelor of Science in fitness management from University of Nevada in Las Vegas and a Master of Business Administration in global management from the University of Phoenix in Ariz. He is currently completing a certificate program in project management from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
