Courses inform nursing professionals of widely-adopted healthcare information technology practices
The series is designed to educate nursing students and professionals about healthcare informatics and technology and how to apply these skills in practice and research. Courses cover the fundamentals of nursing informatics, best practices and career opportunities. Registration for these complimentary courses is available at www.nurse.com/informatics.

Topics for the online modules include: Nursing Informatics: Leveraging Technology to Improve Patient Care and Jumpstart Your Career in Nursing Informatics.
For students interested in pursuing advanced educational opportunities in informatics, Chamberlain College of Nursing offers a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics Specialty Track led by three esteemed faculty: Toni Hebda, PhD, RN, MSIS; Kathleen Hunter, PhD, RN-BC; and Dee McGonigle, PhD, RN, FACCE, FAAN. This track builds essential nurse specialist skills through coursework that covers nursing informatics, data management, healthcare information workflow and project management.
