The Future of Nursing Grant

The Future of Nursing Grant is for eligible pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program students that had an intended start date of May 2021 or earlier but were unable to start that session – to enroll in the next session. 

Verification Requirements:

Eligibility:

  • Pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program students that had an intended start date of May 2021 or earlier but were unable to start that session and can use the grant toward enrollment in the next session.  
  • Must be a student with a current intended start date prior to May 2021 who originally applied during the last 2 years (May 2019 – May 2021) but were unable to start as identified on  the Master Report of eligible students as of the date the report is generated
  • The five (5) sessions of maximum eligibility to end May 2022 session for September starts, March 2022 for July starts. 
  • Must enroll as a new student in a minimum of three credit hours of coursework starting with the July 2021 session (where available) or the September 2021 session.
  • Grant is valued at $200/session for up to five sessions. The maximum value of the grant will not exceed $1,000.
  •  Eligible students will receive the grant eligibility terms and conditions document during week three of the July or September 2021 session and will be awarded at that time.  
  • Students must be on the master report distributed by Student Services on launch (or amended thereafter) to be eligible for this offering.
  • The Future of Nursing Grant cannot be used in conjunction with other Chamberlain-offered scholarships, grants, and/or group-specific tuition rates.
  • For the July 2021 start, students must enroll in the BSN degree program at either the BSN-Online program or one of the following campuses: Addison, Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Irving, Tinley Park or Troy campuses and meet Chamberlain’s acceptance criteria. Non-matriculating students are not eligible. 
  • For the Sept. 2021 start, students must enroll in the BSN degree program at either the BSN-Online program or one of the following campuses: Addison, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland, Houston, Indianapolis, Irving, Jacksonville, Miramar, North Brunswick, Pearland, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tinley Park, Troy or Tyson’s Corner campuses and meet Chamberlain’s acceptance criteria.  Non-matriculating students are not eligible.  
     

Continuing Eligibility Criteria :For continued grant eligibility, student must maintain session-to-session enrollment of at least three credit hours per session and maintain good academic standing for five consecutive sessions.
