    Dr. Nancy Scroggs Appointed First Scholar in Residence of the NLN/Chamberlain College of Nursing Center for the Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education — April 2, 2014

    Chamberlain College of Nursing and the National League for Nursing (NLN) are excited to announce Nancy Scroggs, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, as the first scholar in residence of the NLN/Chamberlain College of Nursing Center for the Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education. With 30 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Scroggs brings valuable knowledge to help elevate and advance the standards of nursing education to improve health care outcomes. Her appointment began April 1.

    The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), and Chamberlain College of Nursing have announced a new collaborative grant to support research focused on excellence and innovation in nursing education. The grant comes at a time of significant discussion in the healthcare industry about the need to prepare nurses to deliver higher quality patient care in an evolving healthcare system. The Nursing Education Research Grant is part of the Sigma Theta Tau International/Chamberlain College of Nursing Center for Excellence in Nursing Education and will fund two $10,000 research projects annually.
