The Certified Caregiver Scholarship has been created to support BSN students who hold a certification in one of the following: Certified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Certified Surgical Technicians (CST), Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Certified Medical Technician (CMT) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN). Students must provide proof of certification or employment as a PCT to receive funding.
$600 per session for ten consecutive sessions (up to $6,000) Availability limited by location and available funds.
Initial Eligibility
- Acceptance into a Chamberlain pre-licensure BSN program and begin enrollment of at least one course.
- Student must provide proof of current certification in one of the following or proof of employment as a PCT:
- Certified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Certified Surgical Technicians (CST)
- Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Certified Medical Technician (CMT)
- Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN)
- Scholarship is for campus-based and BSN Online students only
- Readmit students are eligible for this award.
- Continuing and Non-Matriculating students are not eligible for this award.
- Carryover students are eligible for this award.
BSN-OL and Campus Based BSN programs in Addison, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, Irving, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Miramar, New Orleans, Pearland, Phoenix, San Antonio, St. Louis, Stockbridge, Tinley Park, and Tysons Corner are eligible for this offering. Offer excludes the Houston, Irwindale, North Brunswick, Sacramento, and Troy campuses.
Note: Students who are eligible for multiple Chamberlain University grants and scholarships, including group-specific tuition rates, can only receive the grant or scholarship that is the most beneficial. The Certified Caregivers Scholarship is not stackable with any other Tuition Benefit Chamberlain offers.
Continuing Eligibility
- Maintain good academic standing.
- Students will have 10 sessions to utilize the offer. A session with no enrollment will be included in the total number of sessions.
