The Chamberlain Care Grant was created to support Chamberlain’s access mission. It provides early financial support and encourages enrollment progression consistent with program design. This grant is eligible to new Federal Pell Grant qualified BSN students who maintain steady progress through their first four academic sessions by remaining enrolled with a minimum credit load.
Initial Eligibility:
- Program Enrollment: Pre-licensure BSN degree program
- Credit Hour/Course Requirement: Enroll in 6 credit hours or more per academic session.
- Eligible Locations: BSN Online and BSN Campus locations not in California
- Ineligible Locations: Irwindale and Sacramento
- Eligible Student Status: New
- Ineligible Student Status: Continuing, Non-Matriculating, Resume and Readmit.

Continuing Eligibility:
- Academic Requirement: Maintain good academic standing
- Credit Hour/Course Requirement: Maintain enrollment in 6 credit hours or more per academic session.
- Eligibility is limited to the first four consecutive academic sessions. Students must meet all grant requirements for each of those first four academic sessions. Institutional leave, stop-out, or enrollment below the 6-credit hour threshold may affect future eligibility for this grant, independent of federal student aid eligibility.
- Must remain enrolled in 6-credit hours or more through Week 4 of the each session.
Grant Application Requirements:
- Eligible students will have the grant automatically applied to their account.
- Chamberlain Care Grant Terms & Conditions will be sent to the student.
Limitations/Restrictions:
- Tuition savings are not stackable with other institutional offers (IEP), military, or alumni rates.
- Tuition savings apply to tuition only.
- Students who meet eligibility requirements for multiple non-stackable institutional offers will receive the most beneficial program as determined by Chamberlain University.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All grants and scholarships are limited based on availability of funding. Chamberlain University reserves the right to change offerings at any time. Grant will only be available at campuses that have a start in the next available academic session.
