The Connected by Community-East Grant has been created to support newly enrolled BSN students who are residents of New Jersey, Connecticut, New York or Rhode Island to begin their education at one of our alternative campuses.
Grant Amount: 20% Tuition Savings
Initial Eligibility
- Be a new or readmitted student. Continuing and non-matriculating students are ineligible.
- Be accepted to a campus-based BSN degree program at Chamberlain University.
- Have a New Jersey, Connecticut, New York or Rhode Island address on the pre-licensure BSN application.
- Eligible Locations: Addison, IL; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Irving, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Miramar, FL; New Orleans, LA; Pearland, TX; Phoenix, AZ; San Antonio, TX; St. Louis, MO; Stockbridge, GA; Tysons Corner, VA.
- Ineligible Locations: BSN Online modality and Campus locations in North Brunswick, NJ; Houston, TX; Irwindale, CA; Sacramento, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Tinley Park, IL; and Troy, MI are ineligible for alternative campus consideration.
- Be approved by an alternative campus.
- Campuses in Georgia (Atlanta) and Virginia (Tysons Corner) hold conditional approval to offer the prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program from each state’s board of nursing.
- Florida (Miramar) campus holds a probationary status approval to offer the pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program from the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Enroll in at least one course.
Continuing Eligibility
- Maintain good academic standing.
- Remain at an alternative campus outside of the ineligible locations. At this time, students will not have an option to transfer to ineligible locations from the alternative campus.
- Maintain active student status.
- Failure to achieve this status will result in loss of eligibility for the grant.
