The MSN Curriculum Advantage Grant was created to help eligible readmit students cover the cost of the additional required coursework due to the changes in the MSN curriculum.
Award Amount
50% of tuition and APRN fee (if applicable) for up to two consecutive sessions for students who qualify for one course, and up to four consecutive sessions for students who qualify for two courses.
Initial Eligibility
- Student must enroll in the MSN-Nurse Practitioner Degree Track programs (Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Adult Gerontology Primary Card, Psychiatric-Mental Health), MSN Non-Clinical Degree Programs (Healthcare Policy, Nurse Educator, Nurse Executive, Nurse Informatics, Population Health), Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate (AGACNP, AGPCNP,FNP, and PMHNP) and Non Clinical Graduate Certificates (HealthCare Policy, Nursing Education, Nursing Informatics, Nursing Leadership, Population Health, and Leadership Foundations) are eligible.
- Must be a previous Chamberlain student who has sat out 6 or more sessions but has not graduated.
- New and Continuing students are not eligible.
- Must have previously passed and completed NR 501/NR 501NP: Theoretical Basis for Advanced Nursing Practice and/or NR 506: Health Care Policy within seven years of the current start term.
- Courses older than seven years have aged out and would not be accepted under the terms of the grant offering.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 3 credit hours per session starting with the students first session enrolled.
- Non-matriculating students are not eligible for this grant.
Continuing Eligibility
- Must enroll in three credit hours each session for two consecutive sessions if the grant is offered to cover one course and four consecutive sessions if the grant is offered to cover two courses.
- Students must enroll for two consecutive sessions if grant is offered to cover one course and four consecutive sessions if offered to cover two courses.
- Must remain in good academic standing by meeting Chamberlain’s Standards of Academic Progress as stated in Chamberlain University’s Academic Catalog.
