Students Collect a Ton (Literally!) of Medical Supplies for Kenya Trip

Susan Fletcher, EdD, MSN, BSN, director of International Studies at Chamberlain College of Nursing, will lead Chamberlain students, alumni and faculty and staff members on an International Nursing Service Project trip, which leaves Saturday. The group will also be joined by a pharmacist and Ross University School of Medicine faculty and students. Dr. Fletcher’s latest update below:
We leave Saturday for Kenya. The students have collected almost 2,000 pounds of medical supplies that we will be bringing with us to the people of Kenya. In addition to collecting all of the medical supplies, the students have also collected toys for the children. This entire group is amazing and I am honored to be going with them.
