Staff Spotlight: Lindsey Roehrenbeck
Lindsey Roehrenbeck is the student services supervisor at Chamberlain’s Columbus campus.
I have been a staff member at Chamberlain for over four years now. In my tenure here at Chamberlain, I first served as a student services advisor and am now student services supervisor. My favorite part of my job is working to solve financial and academic issues to help students reach their ultimate goal of becoming a nurse.
In addition to being student services supervisor, I also advise the Student Government Association (SGA) here on campus. I love working with students and assisting them in both organizing volunteer opportunities and making their voices heard here on campus. The SGA is always looking for student body members to help with projects and to offer feedback. If you are interested in getting involved in SGA or have a suggestion for the college, feel free to contact me or email the SGA officers directly at email@example.com.
Prior to my job at Chamberlain, I earned my bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in English Education, both from The Ohio State University. While in graduate school, I also worked as a patient care assistant (PCA) at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Working in a hospital environment was an extremely enriching experience for me. I find it informs how I interact with nursing students in my role today. Specifically, having worked closely with nurses and nursing students at the hospital helps me to empathize with all the hard work it takes our students here at Chamberlain to become exceptional nurses.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our brood of pets, which include a cat (Simon), a dog (Loki) and four chickens (Buffy, Matilda, and The Twins). Playing volleyball, running a book club and being terrible at Zumba are also some of my favorite pastimes.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to continue getting to know each of you as you pursue your dreams here at Chamberlain!
