Hello Chamberlain students! Welcome to the Spring Session, March 2013. We are so proud of your accomplishments. You are becoming a nurse—not an easy task!
We know our nursing program is rigorous and challenging. You attend countless lectures, skills labs, simulations, clinical hours, medication calculation tests and exams. Some students are just beginning their fundamental nursing skills, starting with hand-washing and moving on to vital signs. Others are in now in Adult Health I, semester 5 and halfway through the program! And our upper-classmen and women are in nursing specialty courses. We have 220 fantastic nursing students at Chamberlain College of Nursing, Houston!
On Friday, March 1, we honored our inaugural graduates with a beautiful commencement ceremony. It was so exciting to see our first graduates walk the stage, be pinned with their Chamberlain nursing pin, and receive their diploma. The Chamberlain College of Nursing vision is to graduate extraordinary nursing professionals who will transform healthcare worldwide.
As a Chamberlain graduate, you are expected to be a provider of exceptional nursing care, using critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills that you acquired along your Chamberlain journey. You are all exceptional, and we looking forward to helping you prepare to be an extraordinary, bachelor-prepared registered nurse!
Have a wonderfully successful spring semester!
