Chamberlain Recognized by NLN for Investment in Faculty

Chamberlain University is one of just 47 nursing programs across the country currently holding a National League for Nursing (NLN) Center of Excellence in Nursing Education designation, and one of just seven holding the designation in the area of “Creating Environments That Promote the Pedagogical Expertise of Faculty.”

The NLN established the Centers of Excellence in Nursing Education program as a way to recognize schools and healthcare organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and have invested resources over a sustained period of time.

Achieving recognition in this category exemplifies Chamberlain’s investment in faculty development and commitment to excellence in teaching tomorrow’s nurses. Chamberlain’s designation was awarded in 2016.

“We are dedicated to continuous improvement in providing faculty with the development and support needed to achieve excellence, and we are fervently committed to helping our faculty deliver on our vision of preparing extraordinary nursing professionals,” said Chamberlain president Susan Groenwald, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN. “This is an ongoing journey, and we appreciate being recognized for the work we have done to date.”
