
Fozia Ferozali, EdD, MSN, RN
Dr. Fozia Ferozali is the president for Chamberlain University’s Sacramento campus. Dr. Ferozali has a strong background in nursing education and nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Dr. Ferozali has lectured on team development and patient care, as well as presented on similar topics at national nursing conferences. She completed a publication on adult learning theory in 2011 and has co-authored various research papers, articles and chapters on education and care quality.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Dr. Ferozali served in a variety of leadership roles at University of Phoenix, Western Governors University and Walden University. During her time at these institutions, she served as area chair, course instructor and lead faculty. Her clinical practice includes registered nurse positions in mental health, faculty development, continuing medical education and upholding quality of care standards at hospitals and centers across California.
Dr. Ferozali has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Society of Academic Continuing Medical Education, Society of Simulation in Healthcare, American Nurses Association, American Organization of Nurse Executives, Association of California Nurse Leaders and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. She has served on various professional committees including board member for the Social Welfare Board, treasurer of the Association for California Nurse Leaders and board member for the International Network for Health Workforce Education.
Dr. Ferozali earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from California State University, Master of Science in Nursing degree and Doctor of Education degree from Walden University. She received the President’s Award in 2017 from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, International Exemplary Nurse Leaders award and multiple other Nursing Excellence Awards from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
