
Nelda M. Webb, BSN, MSN, RN
Nelda Webb is the interim president of Chamberlain University’s Charlotte campus. She brings 40 years of academic, administrative and clinical experience to the role.
Prior to rejoining Chamberlain, Ms. Webb held a range of leadership and academic positions, most recently serving as a site visitor and evaluator for the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE). Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Manager for Accreditation and Professional Regulation at Chamberlain. For 30 years she taught and coordinated nursing courses at Union University and Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee.
On the practice side, Ms. Webb has over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, including leadership positions in women’s health and psychiatric nursing. She is an NLN Certified Nurse Educator, a Certified Lay Nurse Midwife Instructor, and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
Ms. Webb is actively engaged in several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, American Nurses Association, and Tennessee Nurses Association. She serves as a board member of West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, Jackson Arts Council, Aspell Recovery Center, and Bank of Jackson.
Ms. Webb earned her Associate in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Union University. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
