
Patrick Rombalski, EdD
Patrick Rombalski came to Chamberlain University in 2014 as senior director of campus operations and was appointed vice president of operations in 2018. Before his tenure at Chamberlain, he was a senior consultant for firms dedicated to improving higher education outcomes. His previous roles include vice president of student affairs at Boston College and at John Carroll University, where he also served as dean of students. For 11 years, Dr. Rombalski served as executive director and vice president of the board of directors for Rostro de Cristo, a 501(c)(3) organization in Ecuador dedicated to promoting social and economic justice.
As an expert in his field, Rombalski was elected in 2017 for a two-year term on the alumni advisory board for the University of Pennsylvania’s executive higher education management program. He has also served as a peer evaluator for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, a consultant reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission and a board member for the Association of Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities.
Rombalski earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and education from Marquette University, a Master of Science degree in student personnel from Iowa State University and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania. His research explored effective strategies employed by institutions of higher education to fulfill their missions.
