Chamberlain University operates on a student-centric calendar. Each year consists of two summer, two fall and two spring sessions. Each semester consists of 16 weeks of instruction and exams; classes will be scheduled in two eight-week sessions each semester.
At the time a student initially starts courses, he/she is assigned a Student Centric Period (SCP) designator code of Cycle 1 or 2. The following chart outlines how months of the year correspond to a student's spring, summer, and fall semesters, based on the assigned SCP cycle.
