Jennie Seal, MSN, RN
Jennie M. Seal has enjoyed Chamberlain University since May 2023 serving first as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and most recently, Mrs. Seal holds dual roles adding Interim Program Director. Her experience at Ochsner Health serving as a system nursing professional development (SNPD) educator and Primary Nurse Planner for our partner the largest healthcare system in Louisiana, helped prepare her.
Mrs. Seal has extensive nursing experience, specializing for 16 years in medical-surgical intensive care (ICU), house supervisor, electronic intensive care unit (eICU), and SNPD.
Leading as the System Primary Nurse Planner of Ochsner Health and as a peer reviewer for the Louisiana State Nurses Association, helping plan 431 nursing courses and serving over 7000 nurse participants in 2022. She also successfully navigated CNE state accreditation for 12 hospitals every 3 years.
Graduating from Louisiana State University Health Science Center with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and then from Chamberlain University with distinction for her master’s in nursing, Mrs. Seal looks forward to continuing her education at Chamberlain University for a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
