Financing Your Chamberlain Education
Chamberlain admissions representatives will help you identify all your financing options, as well as help you apply for and get the financial assistance you need. More than 90% of Chamberlain students receive some form of financial aid. Financial aid is available in the form of federal and private loans, scholarships, grants and work-study to those who qualify.

Chamberlain College of Nursing is a private institution approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. Chamberlain’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum is structured to advance students’ abilities to retain essential knowledge and apply it in clinical settings. The curriculum focuses on conceptual learning and gives students critical skills to translate theory into nursing practice.
Chamberlain’s SIMCARE CENTER™ gives you the opportunity to hone fundamental nursing skills on high-tech patient manikins. Patient simulators have vital signs, bodily functions and produce a range of symptoms, allowing you the chance to provide quality care in a safe setting before transitioning to patients in the clinicals portion of the curriculum.
Chamberlain has partnered with ATI Nursing Education to meet our students’ needs through tools and resources that support a variety of learning styles. Whether it’s through videos, reading materials or their best-in-class learning solutions, ATI’s learning resources are there to support understanding, critical thinking and content mastery. And if you need extra help, tutorials, assessments and simulations are available and easy to access.
Chamberlain accepts qualifying transfer credits, to see if you are eligible, request more information to work with an admissions representative. With a bachelor’s degree in another field, you can find out which qualifying transfer credits from your first degree can help you earn your BSN even faster. Plus, our admissions representatives can work with you to see if you’re eligible for financial aid.
Yes, there are a variety of scholarship options available for our Sacramento campus students. The Sacramento BSN program consists of a minimum of 122 credit hours: 56 credit hours in general education and 66 credit hours in the nursing major.

The Center for Academic Success (CAS) at the Sacramento campus offers workshops, study materials and appointments with tutors and academic support.
Prospective nursing students begin the admission process by first completing an application and then interviewing with a Chamberlain admission representative. When all admission criteria are fulfilled, prospective students are told in writing of their admission status to a specific Chamberlain program and location.
