Phoenix MPAS FAQs
Where is the Phoenix campus?
The Chamberlain Phoenix campus is located in North Phoenix, Arizona, in the Deer Valley area, offering easy access from both the 17 and 101 freeways. The campus also provides ample free parking, making it a hassle-free experience for those commuting by car.
Is Chamberlain’s Phoenix campus state-of-the-art?
The Phoenix Chamberlain MPAS program is recognized as state-of-the-art, featuring cutting-edge facilities and advanced technology designed to offer PA students an immersive, hands-on learning experience.
How many students are in the Phoenix campus MPAS program?
The planned cohort size for the Phoenix campus MPAS program is for a maximum of 50 students, however, this will be confirmed by the accrediting body ARC-PA. This maximum cohort size is designed to ensure a high-quality educational experience, with the ability to provide tailored support and resources to each student as they progress through the program.
Does the MPAS program provide housing at clinical sites?
No. Chamberlain makes every effort to place students as close as possible to the campus location and/or as geographically accessible as possible, however, the MPAS is a specialized program, and some clinical clerkship sites may be located a significant distance from the campus. Students should note that significant travel may be required, and that they may be required to secure temporary housing near their clinical site to complete clinical learning experiences. Students are expected to attend clinical clerkships at the site assigned to them. Clinical site locations vary; contact the MPAS clinical coordinator for additional information. Students are responsible for obtaining their own housing for the clinical year unless housing is provided by the clinical site.

Accreditation
Learn more about accreditation and approvals
Chamberlain University-Phoenix has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Chamberlain University-Phoenix anticipates matriculating its first class in September 2026, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the April 2026 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
If ARC-PA withholds accreditation at its April 2026 commission meeting, Chamberlain University will cease recruitment of students and will not enroll students in the MPAS-PHX program during the September 2026 session. Chamberlain will inform prospective students offered admission that they will not be enrolled and will refund their deposits. CASPA application fees will not be refunded to applicants by Chamberlain University or by CASPA.
