The Practice Ready Pathway provides specialized training, a Chamberlain-funded scholarship and post-graduation loan repayment for eligible in Wisconsin. In return, participants agree to work for Aurora Health Care in an eligible unit after graduating and passing the NCLEX-RN®. Students are responsible for financing their education up front and will receive loan payments only once they are employed by Aurora Health Care.  

You can receive up to $36,000 in financial support* for Chamberlain’s BSN Online Option, specialized training and clinicals at Aurora Health Care facilities, and a clear path to employment with Aurora Health Care. You’ll also become part of an established, mission-driven organization dedicated to making a difference in the health and lives of its patients. Plus, along the way, you’ll have personalized advising, academic assistance, and NCLEX-RN® prep—all built right into your online BSN program.

*Amount includes up to $15,000 in a Chamberlain tuition scholarship and up to $21,000 in student loan repayment provided by Aurora Health Care after graduation and passing the NCLEX-RN®. Scholarship and loan repayment benefits are subject to program participation requirements. 

To be eligible for the Practice Ready Pathway, incoming students must:

• Complete a brief interview with Aurora Health Care and be selected.  
• Be eligible for employment with Aurora Health Care.
• Sign all required documentation, such as the Program Agreement.
• Commit to completing Acute and Progressive Care PRSF track.

The Practice Ready Pathway provides financial support through a Chamberlain scholarship and Aurora Health Care loan repayment benefit to students who commit to working as registered nurses at Aurora Health Care facilities after graduation. Here’s how the program works:

• Tuition Scholarship: Chamberlain University offers a generous scholarship (up to $15,000) that reduces tuition costs for eligible Wisconsin nursing program students, making education more affordable. 
• Loan Repayment Benefit: After graduation, Aurora Health Care will repay educational loans. This benefit is contingent on the participant’s employment with Aurora Health Care. 
• Loan Repayment Process: Aurora Health Care makes monthly payments on your behalf via its Education Benefits Provider. Once employed, you will submit your loan details and payment requests via the Education Benefits Provider teammate platform. Monthly payments continue while employed in an eligible position, until the $21,000 lifetime maximum is reached. 
• Work Commitment: Participants must work at least 30 hours per week as a registered nurse in an eligible unit with Aurora Health Care after passing the NCLEX-RN® and starting employment. 
• Eligible Loans: Only certain private and federal student loans are eligible. Grants, scholarships, or other funding that does not require repayment are not eligible. 
• Continued Eligibility: If a participant’s employment ends with Aurora Health Care or the participant no longer meets these requirements, loan repayment benefits will stop immediately.
