Chamberlain Student Commitments

Today, DeVry Education Group announced the adoption of an expanded set of Student Commitments that will help guide how we educate and serve our students. These commitments build upon strong existing practices and position DeVry Group institutions above and beyond standard higher education policies and practices.

They will be operationalized and enculturated through the support of each institution and include specific measures to promote responsible recruitment and enrollment, successful student outcomes, and informed student choice.

The Student Commitments are broken into six categories:

• Informed Student Choice

• Responsible Recruitment and Enrollment

• Responsible Participation in the Federal Loan Process

• Financial Literacy and Academic Transparency

• Improving Student Satisfaction

• Successful Student Outcomes and Accountability

Building on our strong foundation of Chamberlain Care^®, we believe these commitments are a critical step in the process of strengthening existing practices that benefit and support our students.We are dedicated to providing the resources needed to support both pre- and post-licensure prospective and current students, including specific measures to promote responsible recruitment and enrollment, successful student outcomes, and informed student choice. 

You may notice that these areas of accountability sound familiar, and that’s because Chamberlain has already adopted and has been implementing many of these commitments. We feel these are important to the transparency of information that equips every student that attends Chamberlain College of Nursing with the ability to make informed decisions. Many of these current practices can be found in our academic catalog, student handbook, and various student materials and resources. 

Today’s announcement confirms Chamberlain College of Nursing’s commitment to supporting our students, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on preparing extraordinary nurses who will transform healthcare.
