Launch Into Nursing Grant

Our Launch Into Nursing Grant was created to support pre-licensure students as they begin their BSN journey. Students who are enrolled in at least one course at a participating campus and who meet certain eligibility criteria can receive $1,500 per academic session, for a total of up to $15,000.

Step 1: Submit Your Application
Apply online, no application fee required.

Step 2: Complete the FAFSA®
Submit your FAFSA® using school code 006385 so we can review your financial aid options. This step is optional.

Step 3: Send Transcripts
Provide proof of high school graduation or GED completion and any college transcripts you’d like reviewed.
Email transcripts to cutranscripts@chamberlain.edu.

Step 4: Submit or Take an Entrance Exam
Provide scores from HESI, TEAS, ACT, or SAT taken within the past five years. If you don’t have recent scores, you can schedule one attempt at the HESI Admission Assessment (A2) with Chamberlain.

Step 5: Admissions Review
Once your file is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for acceptance into the BSN program.

Step 6: Final Steps
You’ll work with Student Finance and Enrollment to address any questions and get registered for classes.

What does a year in the Ohio nursing program look like?

The Ohio nursing program follows a predictable schedule. You’ll attend three semesters each year—fall, spring, and summer. Each semester lasts 16 weeks and is divided into two focused eight week sessions. In some cases, you’ll move straight from one session into the next. In others, you’ll have a break before starting the next session.

What are the admissions requirements for Chamberlain’s Ohio nursing programs?

Admission to Chamberlain’s Ohio BSN program is based on academic readiness and completion of required application materials. Applicants must submit:

A valid application (no application fee).
Transcripts from prior education.
Qualifying assessment scores, including those from the HESI Admissions Assessment that can be taken through Chamberlain University or qualifying HESI, TEAS, SAT, or ACT scores earned within the last five years.
