Amanda Morgan, MSW, LCSW-C

Amanda Morgan, LCSW-C is the Field Director for the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program at Chamberlain University. She is a licensed clinical social worker and creative visionary with a passion for growing competent liberation-focused social workers.

She has nearly 20 years’ experience collectively in child welfare, homelessness, community engagement, non-profit leadership, and private clinical practice. She is a board-certified clinical supervisor, former adjunct professor, and former assistant director of field education. She has also been an accreditation specialist for the Council on Social Work Education. She is proud of her ancestral connection to Africa and has a certificate in African-Centered Social Work Practice. Her research interests are child welfare reform, the decolonization of social systems and African-centered approaches to parenting in Black families.

A native of Baltimore and an active alumna of the oldest, all-girls, public high school in the country, Amanda loves herbal tea and swanky office supplies, and adores being an auntie.
