
Anne Marie Hodges, MAEd
Anne Marie Hodges is the applied practice experience manager for Chamberlain University’s College of Health Professions, Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program. She brings five years of experience to the role, supporting both academic and operational processes to support MPH students in completing the Applied Practice Experience courses which culminate the degree experience.
Hodges joined Chamberlain in 2013 and prior to her current role, she supported the Chamberlain MPH program with course design and development. She also supports Chamberlain as the Quality Matters™ coordinator. Prior to joining Chamberlain, Hodges was a director for distance learning in Cleveland, Ohio. She moved into higher education as faculty and to administrate online programs in 2006 and has been teaching online since 2008. Hodges also taught in K12 schools for 15 years across Kentucky and Ohio. Most recently, she served as a subject matter expert developing content for a student success strategies and self-care course, as well as co-authoring the APE/ILE courses for the MPH degree program.
Hodges is a member of the Society for Public Health Education, Ohio-Society for Public Health Education, American Public Health Association, Ohio Public Health Association, and Quality Matters™. Hodges is an elected board member of the Quality Matters™ Ohio Executive Board for the Ohio Statewide Consortium, serving since 2018. She is a certified reviewer for Quality Matters™, reviewing more than 15 online courses ensuring quality online course design. She is also a certified facilitator for Quality Matters™, training faculty to apply the QM Standards in their course design and development.
Hodges earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Morehead State University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Ursuline College. She earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Dartmouth University. Most recently, Hodges earned her Mental Health First Aid certification through Mental Health First Aid USA. Hodges is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership with a focus on Health and Wellness from American College of Education.
