
Judith Kimchi-Woods, PhD, MBA, RN, CPHQ
Dr. Judith Kimchi-Woods is the president of Chamberlain University College of Nursing Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio, campuses and the interim president of the Indianapolis campus. She brings more than 45 years of combined experience in staff nursing, education, research, private practice, consulting and management to her role.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, she was a senior quality improvement services coordinator at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of hospital-wide performance improvement projects to enhance patient safety. She served in various faculty positions at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Capital University in Columbus and MedCentral College of Nursing in Mansfield, Ohio.
Dr. Kimchi-Woods is a member of the Columbus Rotary Club, member of the board of directors of the Cancer Support Community Central Ohio and past member of the board of trustees of the Ohio Nurses Foundation. She is the past president of the Ohio Council of Deans and Directors of Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Nursing Programs and is also on the editorial advisory board of the Building Healthy Academic Communities Journal.
Dr. Kimchi-Woods graduated from Rambam University Hospital School of Nursing in Haifa, Israel. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification and a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing from The Ohio State University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Franklin University and is a certified professional in Healthcare Quality.
