Sharon Rodriguez, DNP, MSN Ed, RN
Dr. Sharon Rodriguez is the president of Chamberlain University’s Miramar campus. She brings more than 30 years of academic, administrative and clinical experience to the role, most recently serving as the dean of academic affairs at Chamberlain’s Miramar campus.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Dr. Rodriguez held a range of leadership and academic positions, including assistant administrator/risk manager at Palm Springs General Hospital, nursing program chair at ITT Technical Institute’s Breckinridge School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and corporate director of nursing at Dade Medical College.
On the practice side, Dr. Rodriguez has worked as a nurse for 15 years in critical care units and emergency departments throughout Florida and in the Philippines.
Dr. Rodriguez is actively engaged in several professional organizations, including the Florida Nurses Association, National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and the Philippine Nurses Association of South Florida.
Dr. Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Adventist University of the Philippines, a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from American Sentinel University.
