
Shawn M. Little, DNP, MSN Ed, RN, CNE
Dr. Shawn M. Little is the president of Chamberlain University’s Atlanta campus. She brings more than 20 years of combined clinical and academic experience to her role.
Dr. Little previously served as interim campus president, dean of academic affairs and associate dean of faculty at Chamberlain University. Prior to joining Chamberlain, Dr. Little was a faculty member at Southern Crescent Technical College educating licensed practical nurse students. During her time there, Dr. Little assisted in curriculum and faculty development and aided in laying the foundation for a new nursing program.
Dr. Little’s clinical experience includes cardiac telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, pulmonary thoracic medical-surgical nursing and float nursing. She received a Nursing Excellence in Leadership award in 2005 and the Ron Taylor Award in 2014.
Dr. Little earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kennesaw State University, a Master of Science in Nursing Education degree from Walden University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chamberlain University. She also obtained a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) designation in July 2019.
