Next Generation Scholarship
A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for recent high school graduates who have shown exceptional academic performance.
$2,500 per semester
(Up to $22,500)
Availability: Limited by available funds (Available funds vary by location)
Initial Eligibility:
- Acceptance into a Chamberlain University pre-licensure program
- Graduated high school in the last 24 months
- Minimum high school CGPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Meet or exceed at least one of the following minimum scores:
(Due to COVID-19 and campus closures, Chamberlain University will suspend HESI A2, SAT and ACT scores from the initial eligibility requirements on the Next Generation Scholarship until further notice.)
- 80 in the Chamberlain HESI Admissions Assessment (A2)
- 24 on the ACT (composite score)
- 1100 on the SAT (critical reading and mathematical reasoning sections)
- Minimum 9 credit hours per semester enrollment
- Continuing students are not eligible for this award
Written Essay Portion:
- If you meet the initial eligibility requirements, a written essay will be due by August 13th, 2021. Please speak with your admissions representative or student finance advisor to receive the written essay portion of the scholarship.
Continued Eligibility
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Exceptions subject to Campus President approval
- Minimum of 9 credit hours per semester enrollment
- Students who drop below the enrollment minimum will lose their scholarship going forward, regardless of future enrollment levels
- Exceptions subject to Campus President approval
Deadline: Written essays for the September 2021 session will be due by August 13th, 2021. Winners will be notified before the start of the September 2021 session.
