Chamberlain Opportunity Scholarship

A merit based scholarship for new pre-licensure BSN students.  Intended to reward academically excellent students who choose Chamberlain.

$1,000 per semester
(Up to $6,000)

Availability: Limited by available funds (Available funds vary by location)

Initial Eligibility:  

  • Acceptance into a Chamberlain University pre-licensure program
  • Meet or exceed a score of 80 on the A2
    (Due to COVID-19 and campus closures, Chamberlain University will replace HESI A2 scores with a minimum 3.2 GPA for initial eligibility requirement for the Opportunity Scholarship until further notice.)
  • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

Continued Eligibility:

  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
    • Exceptions subject to Campus President approval
  • Minimum of 9 CH/semester enrollment
    • Students who drop below the enrollment minimum will lose their scholarship going forward, regardless of future enrollment levels
    • Exceptions subject to Campus President approval
