Chamberlain University Receives Quality Matters Exemplary Program Status for RN to BSN Online Program

Quality is an important factor for consideration when choosing an academic program. However, it’s often hard to distinguish what makes one program better than another. 
When it comes to Chamberlain’s RN toBSN Online Degree Completion Option, there is no guesswork when it comes to quality. We are excited to share that our program is the first and only RN to BSN Option degree program in the nation to receive Quality Matters™ (QM) Exemplary Program status. 

What is Quality Matters?
Quality Matters is the international leader for quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments. They set the standard for program quality, along with continuous review, to ensure that the highest level of quality is being maintained. 

How did our RN to BSN Online Option program receive his prestigious recognition?
QM Exemplary Program status for Chamberlain’s RN to BSN option was achieved by earning recognition in all four QM Program Certification categories – Program Design, Teaching Support, Learner Support and Learner Success – within a three-year period. 

According to Quality Matters, Chamberlain University is one of only three institutions to attain the QM Exemplary Online Program status within the last three years. And we’re the only RN to BSN option to do so, ever. 

All criteria are based on best practices, supported by research and the expertise of professionals with extensive online learning and QM experience. 

	Program design - Our program was put through a rigorous, faculty-driven peer-review process that evaluates the quality of the online course design and the components that are critical to learner success in the online environment.
	Teaching Support - Teacher and learner support systems offered for the program were analyzed to ensure that faculty are properly trained through best practices for online course delivery and are provided ongoing support.
	Learner Success – The program was evaluated to establish that it articulates a mission-driven definition of success for learners and that they achieve success at a high rate, based on comparisons and benchmarks.
	Learner Support - Student and academic services necessary for learner success are evaluated and feedback is provided to optimize learner support and success.
